About Us

 

ColorConnect founder, Kathy Hunter, has been a wardrobe and makeup consultant since 1982. She gained her color consultant certification from ColorOne while living in New Jersey and has since worked with hundreds of men and women to transform their style and boost their confidence.

 

In addition to advising individuals and organizations, Hunter has been a stylist for many New York photo shoots and runway fashion shows.

 

Her cosmetic training began at Clinique, and in 1989 she moved to New York where she worked as a creative writing consultant on advertising campaigns for Revlon, Estee Lauder, L’Oreal, Maybelline and CoverGirl.

 

In 2007, Hunter created ColorKits, a line of customized seasonal palette cosmetics for day and evening. Her philosophy was simple, “take the guesswork out of makeup and feel confident by wearing your most flattering shades. No more drawers full of unused makeup or being a slave to unflattering makeup trends.”

 

For those who share her passion for makeup and fashion, Hunter created The ColorWorkshop, a one-day training program where students learn to be a color consultant or just be more knowledgeable on what looks best on them.

 

Hunter’s ultimate goal…to beautify the world, one person at a time.
